The Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program provides a diverse pool of high school and college students who are eager to work. You’ll get motivated workers who become productive employees for tomorrow.

How It Works:

  1. You identify your summer hiring needs and send us a job order. Jobs can be part-time or full-time.

  2. We access our pool of over 1,000 trained, dependable young people ages 16-21 who are ready to work. We conduct pre-employment training that ensures candidates are work-ready: Youth develop enhanced communications skills and quality job performance habits.

  3. We conduct skills evaluations, staff interviews and screenings to identify the TOP 3 Candidates for each job opening.

  4. You review resumes, conduct interviews and make a hiring offer.

  5. We follow up with you to make sure you are happy with your summer hire.
